OK so now that Microsoft Edge is based on the Chrome browser it's a lot more attractive to use. I've been using it for both work and home since it was first put on general release.
Edge now supports many of the features of Chrome along with better integration into the Microsoft eco system.
For some years now I've been a member of the Microsoft Reward scheme. Having to purposefully switch to Internet Explorer, or the old Microsoft Edge meant that other than a couple of dedicated months, I just didn't stick with the program.
I still "game" the system, I don't feel that Bing gives me anything like the quality of search results that Google does so I purposefully perform 30 searches with Bing that are actually of no use to me other than to gain the 3 points per search. Similarly with the 20 mobile searches.
The quizzes and polls can be interesting giving a few additional points per day.
Personally I'm saving up points for sweepstake entries. I have no concept of how many people are entering these sweepstakes or what the odds of me getting anything are but I figure I'm paying for these entries with a few minutes of my time each day.
The rewards site offers vouchers for Amazon, Halfords, NEW LOOK, John Lewis, M&S, PizzaExpress, Tesco and other retail outlets. The points to pounds ratio isn't great but again, it something for a little of your time every day.
