I didn't realise that I have not yet posted these videos to the blogs.
Dad came over just before Christmas and together we trimmed the tops off of the Leylandii trees at the bottom of my garden.

Looking back at photographs of when the conservatory was put up, five years ago, the trees had been cut back to the same height then. The trees had grown about fifteen feet in five years.

After cutting the tops of the trees off there was far much more light, but the trimmings filled the entire garden.
