I'm trying to learn a little about ASP and using the Micro$oft tools to make web sites. I'm being lead down a rat hole :(
It appears that I need to create a "simple" database using SQL Server 2008 Express.
After downloading the server the install program appears to have decided that since I don't have much space on my hard drive that it will write the temp files to an alternate drive. Alternate drive? I've only got the... oh wait... it's only using my iPod for the temp files!!!! Why? WHy? WHY????
I'll have to make sure it's cleared all the rubish off of my iPod once the install completes.
