Yes I was there when GMail was out during the winter of 2009. It was terrible, people were using Twitter to communicate with each other, some even opened up old, spam full Hotmail accounts in desperation. I'm sure we'll get through, somehow.
BTW, Gmail is my main mail system, if it seems I'm ignoring you it's just this Gmail issue.
