Cycling home tonight across a car park/ice skating rink and there was an old lady almost in tears trying to cross the opposite way. Of course I got off my bike, turned around and offered her my arm. Got her to her front door with no slippages.
If people find the ice so terrifying I wish they'd call for help rather than working themselves up into a state, especially this late at night.
